Kristine is a graduate from the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. She earned her undergraduate degree from the College of Agriculture at Pennsylvania State University. She specialized in small animal practice before returning to the University of Pennsylvania, where she completed a veterinary pathology residency. Dr. Krotec is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists in Anatomic Pathology, and her special interests include small animal and equine pathology. Kristine completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the state veterinary diagnostic laboratory system prior to joining Antech Diagnostics in 1998. Kristine has one daughter, Kathleen Eileen, with her husband Paul and an eclectic collection of dogs, cats, Quarter Horses, rescued miniature horses, several 4-H rabbits, and laying hens with a variety of pathological conditions.
